About Me

Behshid Behkamal is an associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), where she earned her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering - Data Science in 2014. During her doctorate program, she was working on the Quality Assessment of Linked Open Data. She obtained her B.Sc in Computer Engineering from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2000, and Master of IT engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2007. Before joining FUM, she held the position of Director of the IT Department in public sector organizations. Her research interests are in the area of Data Science in general, and specifically include Data Quality, Linked Open Data, Knowledge Graph, and Explainable AI.
