About Me

Behshid BehkamaI was a full-time faculty member in the Department of Computer Engineering at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) from 2014 to 2023, serving as an associate professor. She is currently a researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Western University. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Engineering with a focus on Data Science from FUM in 2014, specializing in the quality assessment of Linked Open Data. She received her B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from FUM in 2000 and her M.Sc. in IT Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology in 2007. Before joining FUM, she held the position of Director of the IT Department in public sector. Her research interests are in the area of Data Science in general, and specifically include Data Quality, Linked Open Data, Knowledge Graph, and Explainable AI.
