# Title Description
1 As a core course in the undergraduate course in agricultural economics
2 familiarize students with the theoretical foundations, tools, and methods of analyzing agricultural policies and evaluating the economic, social, and environmental consequences of various policies in the agricultural sector. The student will be able to: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the concept of policymaking in the agricultural sector and its objectives. Analyze and evaluate price and non-price, trade, protection, and environmental policies. Recognize the consequences of policies on production, consumption, welfare, trade, natural resources, and sustainability. Use quantitative and qualitative models to examine the effects of agricultural policies. Study and compare the experiences of different countries in agricultural policymaking.
3 Possess basic knowledge of agricultural science and engineering, fundamentals of agricultural economics and production economics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and agricultural development
