About Me
After his MSc, Dr. Mohammad worked as a lecturer at the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, for three years (1990-1993). Upon receiving his doctorate, he started his position as assistant professor in 1996 for five years and subsequently as an Associate Professor in 2001. He has achieved a lot as an academic staff and has become well known for his research on slope of crop stress physiology particularly salinity. He awarded his professorship in 2006 and became one of the key scientist of his carrier afterward. Together with scientific activities, Mohammad accepted some high level responsibilities at Ferdowsi University that the last one is presidency of this third most famous University in Iran (2013- 2021). Dr. Kafi has supervised and is still supervising many Master (30) and PhD students (25).
