About Me

I am Dr. Mohsen Parvizi, Associate Professor of Mathematics at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, in 2005 (1384 Solar Hijri).
My research primarily focuses on group theory and its algebraic extensions, with particular interest in the structural and homological properties of finite groups and Lie algebras. My scholarly contributions encompass topics such as the Schur and Bogomolov multipliers, non-abelian tensor and exterior products, capability theory, and commutativity degrees of algebraic systems. Through these studies, I aim to elucidate the deep connections between algebraic structures and their invariants, contributing to the broader understanding of abstract algebra.
In my teaching and supervision, I regularly offer courses in algebra, set theory, and advanced topics in abstract mathematics, emphasizing logical rigor, conceptual clarity, and independent problem solving. I also supervise graduate research projects on algebraic structures and their applications, encouraging students to cultivate analytical precision and creativity in mathematical reasoning.
Throughout my academic career, I have sought to foster excellence in both research and education, advancing the frontiers of modern algebra while nurturing a new generation of mathematicians equipped for rigorous inquiry and theoretical innovation.
