I received my B.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Tehran, Iran, in 2003 and completed my M.Sc. in Inorganic Chemistry in 2006 from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran, also my doctorate (in 2010 as a bioinorganic chemist) in chelation therapy of thalassemia drugs with Dr. S. J. Fatemi from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman, Iran. I then joined the Department of Chemistry at the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2010, where I am now an Associate Professor of Inorganic Chemistry. My scientific interests are firmly based in the areas of Inorganic Nanobiotechnology, the synthesis of Inorganic nanocariers (e.g., MOFs, MSNs) in targeted cancer therapy, design of theranostic systems in treatment of cancers, the synthesis of Inorganic bio-sensors and wound healing. I have published more than 115 research papers and 10 books (until 2025) and have supervised several M.Sc. thesis and Ph.D. theses.
