About Me
Amir R. Masoodi, has received his Ph.D. degree in structural engineering (computational mechanics) from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He also passed a short research period as a research visitor at the Department of Applied Mechanics in TU Delft from September 2018 until March 2019, where he studied the mechanical properties of composites composed of randomly distributed curved fibers. He was selected as a member of the National Elite Foundation of Iran. He is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Civil Engineering in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His research interests include smart materials, structural vibration, composite structures, computational mechanics, multiscale modeling, nanocomposites. He currently serves as reviewer for more than 20 scientific journals. He is also a member of the journal editorial board in of BMC research notes and Frontiers in Built Environmental. He has published more than 50 papers, which have been cited more than 1000 times.
