Dr. Hosein Mohammadi, Associate Professor of Economics at the Agricultural Economics Department of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM), has been working in the Agricultural Economics Department at FUM since 2009. He has a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, a master's degree in energy economics and marketing from Tehran University, and a Ph.D. in economics majoring in international trade from Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU) in Tehran. He graduated in 2009 from ATU. Dr. Mohammadi was the first rank in the Ph.D. exam in the field of economic sciences in Iran in 2004 and was among the distinguished graduates in the master's and doctoral degrees. At FUM, Dr. Mohammadi has taught econometrics, international trade, marketing of agricultural products, agribusiness, financial management, and macroeconomics at undergraduate, M.Sc., and Ph.D. levels and is interested in these educational fields. He has published several research articles in prestigious national and international journals and supervised more than 40 theses of M.Sc. and Ph.D. students at FUM. Dr. Mohammadi has several national and regional research projects that have played an essential role in attracting research grants for the university. His current research interests are marketing and trade of agricultural and food products, agribusinesses, macroeconomics, economic development, environmental economics, financial economics, and econometrics. In addition to publishing several articles in prestigious journals, three books on various topics of econometrics, including time series, cross-sectional data, and panel data, were among his academic achievements in the field of econometrics in the Department of Agricultural Economics of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
