1 Required specialized course for the B.Sc. program in Environmental Science and Engineering
2 Familiarity with Iran's plant diversity; application of morphology in plant identification and classification; skill in using identification keys; familiarity with important plant families in Iran; recognition of Iran's indicator, endemic, and endangered plant species.
3 A solid understanding of the fundamentals of general biology and ecology, particularly in the areas of plant morphology and systematics.
4 Understanding and Learning: - Iran's plant biodiversity and its role in the global context. - Floristic regions of Iran and their ecological characteristics. - The relationship between plant morphology and ecological adaptations. - Methods for collecting, documenting, and preparing herbarium specimens. - Skills for identifying plants in their natural environment using identification keys. - Knowledge of important plant families and species in the flora of Iran. - Identification of key plant species, including indicator, endemic, and endangered plants. - to conduct field botanical projects and prepare scientific reports.
5 Lectures using PowerPoint presentations, questions and answers, demonstration of methods for collecting, preparing, and identifying plant specimens, plant collection projects, excursions, and practical work in the field and herbarium.
6 Consistent participation in both theoretical and practical classes, utilizing learning materials and study resources aligned with the syllabus, completing individual and group projects, and successfully passing all course examinations.

8 Video projector, computer, whiteboard, educational herbarium specimens, scientific visits, and field works.
9 The course will include quizzes, projects, and practical assignments focused on collecting and identifying plants, as well as midterm and final exams.
